Lycos and Versaware Launch New Online Research Center Featuring Funk and Wagnalls Encyclopedia, Random House Webster's College Dictionary and News From Reuters


Versaware Technologies and Lycos, Inc. (Nasdaq: LCOS), the most visited Internet hub and the world's largest online community, launched the Lycos.com Research Center, a co-branded site http://www.funkandwagnalls.lycos.com with content provided by Versaware in its feature-rich Versabook® eBook format. The Lycos.com Research Center, powered by Versaware, includes an online version of the acclaimed 29-volume Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia, Random House Webster's College Dictionary as well as world news from Reuters. Visitors to the Lycos.com Research Center will be able to easily search and access the various services available on the co-branded site, which are enhanced with sounds, pictures, maps and animations.
